So, I've joined livejournal.
adq has been recommending LJ over facebook, and there are friends on here that aren't on facebook, so here I am. Not sure I'll be writing in it that often, or what I'll be writing (probably work/computer/music/film related stuff), but let's see how things go. V happy that this user name was available :)
As for the title of this post - I've been invited to Napier Uni this week to train lecturers and research staff in 'eCommerce website implementation'. Woo. The course is based on my web development experience over the last 10 years, so it's been interesting to rummage through it all and pull it together into something resembling a training course.
I've got a small group of 3 to 4 trainees each day today, tomorrow, and thursday. There's a lot in the course, in fact too much to fit everything in in a single day. Better than having too little, and in theory it allows me to adapt the course each day according to the trainees interests. In practice, however...
... it actually worked out really well today!
I'm looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.
Apparently I'm an alterpreneur.
